Sultans of String: REFUGE – World Premiere with Orchestra – Saturday, February 8 at the Living Arts Centre – 8:00PM

3x JUNO nominees, 6x CFMA winners, and Billboard chart-toppers Sultans of String start the New Year with the Mississauga Symphony Orchestra and the World Orchestral Premiere of REFUGE – a unique and powerful production that brings the magic of collaboration to the stage with stunning global artists and large orchestra.

REFUGE celebrates the creativity, diversity, and passion of Canada’s immigrant community and includes special guests: Donné RobertsPadideh AhrarnejadMajd SukarSaskia TomkinsLeen HamoTamar Ilana, and more. All bring their unique brand of musical synergy and collaboration to bear on discussions and songs that speak to the challenges facing the world’s displaced peoples—their stories, their persistence, and their humanity.

This live concert will showcase the incredible music and storytelling of many of the collaborators featured in Sultans of String’s Cannes World Film Festival award–winning documentary, The Refuge Project.
