Julie Nesrallah – Mezzo-Soprano
The dazzling Julie Nesrallah performs for leading opera companies, symphonies, festivals and chamber music ensembles across Canada and around the world. Miss Nesrallah sang God Save the Queen for Will and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, for Canada Day festivities on Parliament Hill in a performance that was viewed by millions. She also sang for An Evening for Peace for Her Majesty Queen Noor of Jordan in Montreal. Miss Nesrallah is the host of Tempo on CBC Music and is also the executive producer and star of Carmen on Tap which performs Georges Bizet’s Carmen as dinner theatre. Miss Nesrallah has been the recipient of several distinguished awards including the Canada Council for the Arts Emerging Artist Award & Mid-Career Grant, and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal for her cultural contribution to Canada’s performing arts.
Cristina Pisani – Soprano
Cristina Pisani is a vibrant soprano hailing from Mississauga. She enjoys a multifaceted career on both the operatic and concert stage and is thrilled to once again make beautiful music with the Mississauga Symphony Orchestra after her company debut as Violetta Valéry in Verdi’s La Traviata. Next month, Cristina will debut in the title role of Ronald Beckett’s opera Ruth (Arcady) in a unique outdoor performance setting. Recently, Cristina made her Toronto City Opera debut as the feisty Abigaille in Verdi’s Nabucco. Other credits include roles in operas by Handel, Mozart, Donizetti, Bizet, Verdi, Wagner, Leoncavallo, Puccini, Strauss, Britten, and Beckett. Cristina began her musical training at the age of three and completed her MMus at Western University. In the few hours she is away from music, Cristina loves to stream on Twitch (@TheNESpa), dabble in makeup, and spend time with her family, friends, and pets.
Romulo Delgado – Tenor
Romulo Delgado is an operatic tenor, composer, world music multi-instrumentalist, vocal coach and adjudicator. He was a region finalist at the Hans Gabor Belvedere International Opera competition in Vienna, Austria and trained in Toronto at the Royal Conservatory Music. His versatility as a performer has enchanted audiences all over North America and Europe.
His operatic roles currently include Pinkerton in Puccini’s Madama Butterfly, Alfredo in Verdi’s La Traviata, Don Jose in Bizet’s Carmen, The Duke of Mantua in Verdi’s Rigoletto, Edgardo in Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor, Idomeneo in Mozart’s Idomeneo, Mario Cavaradossi in Puccini’s Tosca, Macduff in Verdi’s Macbeth, Rodolfo in Puccini’s La Boheme and Riccardo in the Canadian premiere of Verdi’s Oberto.
Also in demand as a concert tenor soloist, his concert repertoire includes Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9, Gounod’s St. Cecilia Mass, Dubois’ the seven last words of Christ, Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Handel’s Samson, Puccini’s Messa di Gloria, Verdi’s Requiem and Handel’s Messiah.
As a world music performer, he has also toured and recorded with many international and local recording artists and has been engaged by several of the fortune 500 corporations.

Christopher Dunham – Baritone
Christopher Dunham is a native of Niagara Falls, Ontario and has captivated audiences with his “Vocally powerful and dramatic” (Opera Magazine Canada) baritone voice across Canada and as far away as the Adriatic coast of Italy. Hailed by Opera Canada Magazine as “Possessed of an enormous baritone voice that he used with great musicality and intelligence, he proved he could not only sing like a god but act brilliantly, dance, and play the guitar…”.
A recent graduate from L’Atelier Lyrique de L’Opera de Montreal and Atlanta Opera’s Young Artist Residency, Christopher is equally comfortable in concert, recital and on the main stage. Some of his roles include: Figaro in The Barber of Seville (Brott Opera), Mercutio in Romeo et Juliette (Jeunesse Musical Canada), Escamillo in Carmen (Windsor Symphony), Don Giovanni, Eisenstein in Die Fledermaus (Western University), Dandini in La Cenerentola (La Musica Lyrica) Germont in La Traviata (Jeunesse Musicals Canada), and Schaunard in Puccini’s La Bohème (L’Opera de Montreal).
A recipient and winner of the Desmarais Development Bursary two years in a row and the Jeunesse Musicals Canada’s Young Mentorship Position, Christopher has been seen this season with Pacific Opera Victoria, singing Argante in Handel’s Rinaldo, with the Atlanta Opera, singing corporal in Donizetti’s La Fille du Regiment, in the titular role of Don Giovanni with Southern Ontario Lyric Opera, and as Escamillo in Carmen with L’Opera de Montreal. With these and many more things to come, Christopher is a young Canadian baritone who has already begun to make a name for himself and promises to have a flourishing career.
