The Mississauga Symphony Youth Orchestra is a vital division of Orchestras Mississauga that offers young orchestral musicians opportunities to learn from and perform alongside professional MSO musicians.
Led by Artistic Director Denis Mastromonaco, a highly respected Canadian conductor and music educator, the MSYO has quickly established itself as Mississauga’s foremost youth orchestra and has earned a strong reputation for excellence within Mississauga’s arts community.
The MSYO is pleased to announce that we are accepting applications for the 2026-27 Season. The MSYO will feature three ensembles this coming season: Sinfonia, Philharmonic Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra.

The Mississauga Symphony Orchestra has been active in Mississauga since 1972. It has been a resident tenant inside the Living Arts Centre since 1997. The Mississauga Symphony Orchestra has grown significantly in both membership and profile, and is now proudly designated as one of Mississauga's six pillar institutions of arts, culture, and heritage.
