The Mississauga Symphony Orchestra is proud to announce the launch of its Candlelight Concert Series, a community initiative made possible through the generous support of the Mississauga Foundation, the Rotary Club of Mississauga, and the Rotary Club of Mississauga West. This unique series, designed to bring the joy of music to our community in an intimate candlelit setting, will begin on November 18th in the Screening Room at the Living Arts Centre.
Throughout the 2024/2025 season, the MSO will present six pre-recorded concerts aimed at inspiring, uplifting, and connecting our community. These Candlelight Concert screenings are free and open to the public, though advance registration is required to ensure seating. The inaugural concert, The Music of Italy and Argentina, marked the 50th anniversary of the MSO and features timeless works that celebrate the cultural richness of both countries. The screening will begin at 7:00 pm, feature an intermission, and conclude by 9:15 pm.
The MSO extends heartfelt thanks to the Mississauga Foundation, the Rotary Club of Mississauga, and the Rotary Club of Mississauga West for their valuable partnership and assistance in bringing this series to life. Representatives from the Mississauga Foundation will be in attendance on opening night, while the Rotary Club of Mississauga will join us for a special concert in February.
