Join Maestro Denis Mastromonaco inside the Screening Room of the Living Arts Centre prior to A Czech Celebration for our second Meet the Maestro pre-concert chat of the season! Maestro Mastromonaco will be joined by special guest, Dr. John Holland.

In addition to his accomplishments as a seasoned operatic baritone, Dr. Holland is the founder of the Canadian Institute for Czech Music, Artistic Director of Chorus York, and the Director of Fundraising and Community Programming for Avenue Road Music & Performance Academy. His book, The Lost Tradition of Dvořák’s Operas: Myth, Music, and Nationalism was published in 2023 through Lexington Books. In 2024, John co-produced the Year of Czech Music Opera Fest.
